Delivery, Shipment & Insurance

The shipment of any and all Lloyd Knives products or items from Lloyd Knives will in any case be made in the name of and to sole risk of the customer. The risk of loss for all our Knives & products or other items pass on to the customer when we delivery to the carrier / shipper. All postage / shipping costs have to be paid for by the customer. For all customs clearing purposes and import tax, a Invoice will be provided with each package showing with detail the type of product and its full value. Customs, duties and taxes are subject to national law and provisions. They are due in the country of destination and payable by the customer.

The customer will have to notify us with his preferred shipping carrier and the type of shipment. If nothing else has been agreed we recommend to use DHL for national and FedEx International Priority for international shipment. Shipping costs may vary depending on the destination. Please read the provisions of the carrier and check the rates with the shipper / carrier.

Insurance can be provided, and this will be subject to your requirements, all insurance must be paid for by the customer, either Lloyd Knives can arrange insurance with the shipper / carrier, or you may arrange your own insurance cover. (we highly recommend taking out full insurance on all products over the value of £100.00.

NOTE: Should you choose not to take insurance for shipping, then you must make this very clear when making your order, as we will not include insurance unless otherwise specified by the customer.
